You might have already seen it, but database properties now have a “Comments” system! Simply hit the “comment” icon on the right of your property.

Once a comment has been made, you’ll see 💬 next to the property it’s attached to. You can select 💬 to see the comment and add to the conversation.

Quick caveat — it doesn’t work for:

• Title property
• Empty properties
• Formula, button, unique ID, and rollup properties (makes sense for rollups but expecting it later for formulas)
• Checkbox properties from the table. You’ll have to open the database page to do so.
